§ 18-43. Operating restrictions.
Any person operating an off-road vehicle in the unincorporated areas of the county under any of the following conditions shall be deemed to be in violation of this article:
(1)
Without operative brakes or without mufflers or other silencing equipment;
(2)
On any public property, including, but not limited to, any portion(s) of any county or state right-of-way whether or not improved, except where permitted pursuant to article V of this chapter.
(3)
On any private property without the express written permission of the owner of the property or his agent, proof of which shall be in the immediate possession of the operator of a off-road vehicle and which shall be displayed upon request of any law enforcement officer, except in those locations where off-road vehicles are lawfully allowed to operate.
