§ 22-78. Same—Access fee.
Any person desiring to access a public road for any purpose excluding the removal of timber, but including the removal of other commercial products and gaining access to a construction or other site, shall first make application to the county building and zoning office for a permit for such access.
(1)
The fee for the access permit shall be as established by the board of county commissioners, from time to time.
(2)
The application shall specify the exact locations at which access will be made to county roads.
(3)
The director of public works will inspect the access points prior to access being made by the permittee and shall approve or disapprove the permit after giving consideration to such factors as potential damage to county roadways, interference with normal traffic flow at that point, etc.
(4)
The provisions of this section shall be enforced whether or not an access point exists at the time of application.
