§ 24-85. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Person means any individual, corporation, partnership, association, owner, lessee, licensee, bailee, employee, contractor, or any other individual having control of a vehicle used herein.

Refuse means trash, rock, sand, garbage, scrap, manufacturing, waste, cloth, paper, debris, or other matter, which if lost from said conveyance would be foreign matter to such public road or the shoulders and ditches thereof.

Vehicle means any truck, trailer towed by truck, or any other type of conveyance, which is used to transport items over and across the roadways of the county, which shall be of a size commonly known as one ton or greater.
